(A)ss(I)stant Coach does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. There is nothing to opt out of, because nothing is ever gathered.
The app has no user accounts, no sign-in, and no backend servers. Everything you create — your team, your roster, player ratings, traits, season history, lineups and your line notes — is stored only on your device, in the app's own storage. We never receive a copy of it, and we have no way to see it.
(A)ss(I)stant Coach contains no networking code at all. It does not call any web service — ours or anyone else's — and it works exactly the same with your phone in airplane mode. Nothing you enter leaves the device unless you deliberately share it yourself.
If you upload a team logo, you pick it yourself from Photos or from the Files app. iOS hands the app that single image and nothing else — the app is never granted access to your photo library or your documents. The image is saved on your device alongside your roster and is never uploaded anywhere.
When you publish a line chart, you choose what happens next through the standard iOS share sheet, the clipboard, or AirPrint. The app hands the image or text to the destination you pick — a message, an email, a printer — and keeps no record of it. Whatever you send is then covered by the privacy policy of the app or service you sent it to.
The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs and no tracking of any kind. No device identifiers, no usage statistics, no crash reporting, no cookies, no fingerprinting. Nothing.
(A)ss(I)stant Coach's line grading and lineup suggestions are produced by rules that run entirely on your phone, using the ratings and traits you enter yourself. It is not a chatbot and not a cloud service. Your roster is never sent to any AI service or any other server for processing.
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 — because it does not collect personal information from anyone at all.
Your data lives only on your device. You can erase everything from within the app (Roster → + → Team Settings → Erase Everything & Start Over), or delete the app, which removes all of it from your phone. Since we never had a copy, there is nothing else to request or delete.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page.
